Enjoy your weekend a bit too much? We’ve all been there, but before you reach for those OTCs, I have a few tricks up my sleeve that are much more gentle on your body, and may even speed up your recovery time!
Holistic Ways to Ease Your Hangover:
Coconut Water
The best way to ward off head tension after a few too many adult beverages is to stay hydrated. The electrolytes and minerals you get from coconut water are just what the doctor ordered, so drink a glass before bed and first thing in the morning! I would even recommend hitting the coconut water before your next party to attempt to avoid the after effects of drinking too much all together!
Essential Oils
There are 3 oils in particular to have on hand when you know you will be imbibing – Serenity (promotes relaxation and a restful sleeping environment), DigestZen (to ease feelings of queasiness), and PastTense (to ease tension and balance emotions).

Eat
Yes. I know you feel like death warmed over, and thought of food may not be appealing, but your body will thank you for eating something. Trust me. Sugar and carbs should really not be that something…
Sleep
Sleep = recovery time for your body, so when you’ve been rough on your body, make sure you give it ample recovery time (after you drink some coconut water, eat something, and oil up, that is).
